For the guys running regional, what are your actual miles like weekly? What can I expect when I get out of my trainer truck? I have years of experience, but none recently, so I will have to train again. What has been your shortest mileage week recently?

The recruiter told me today the same thing, 1800 to 2000 miles as an average. I get being home weekly, but I do not think that I can make it financially with such few miles, and for me to be away from my family I need to make it worth the time financially.

That's about what I got. They don't mind giving raises, my mileage pay increased 3 times in less than a year. They have good benefits. I was just used to running 2500-3000 miles a week. If it wasn't for that, Id probably still be with them. Of course, you make pretty good money with them even at 2000 a week. Cant remember many of my checks being less than 600-700/wk which is pretty good considering youre home every weekend. They also have truck washes and showers at most of their terminals. They are a decent company and the owner is down to earth- He started with Averitt as a dock hand.

I keep hearing how good the benefits are, but I can't seem to find out any information on them. Can someone inlighten me on how good they are for a family? Deductible? Out of pocket? Copays? Any info would be great.

I have spoken with a recruiter many times, I have my phone conference interview tomorrow morning, but I have not been able to get any information about the benefits. I will get it in time, I was just curious.
