Waiting to see if Maverick will call Averitt with my information. Averitt recruiter said I didn't meet their requirements for training with a carrier then a month solo. I actually DID get that with Maverick but Averitt is saying Mavericks training is 7 weeks. I think I might've actually put down the wrong month for when I started with Maverick so that might be part of the confusion. Not sure if I can fix that at all.

So Averitt is out for you, or do they have to verify your work history first? And are you trying to get on with they're student driver program? If it's just numbers and you didn't blatantly lie about anything, call or email them and let them know the correct information. They were pretty understanding with me as I'm old and forget stuff now and again... Dates, names, what planet I'm on sometimes.... Things like that. LOL

Heh not out yet. I sent Maverick an email asking them to call Averitt and clarify. I think I put down on my app that I started in september but when I double-checked my records after Averitt called I saw that it was August instead.

If your close enough, why not drive? This way you can drive around in the evenings and not have to rely on someone else to take you any where?

... and you get .26 a mile reimbursed to you after orientation.

Because I do not wish to leave my car in Tennesee where I can't see it and where it's left out in the weather. I mean I'll be leaving with my trainer eventually. And if I want to go somewhere I plan on walking.

Unless your Service Center is Cookeville itself, You're going to TN for orientation only, and it's only four days. When you leave with your trainer, it's going to be at the closest SC within 150 miles of your house. So you are going to have to leave it at some point, since I'm pretty sure your trainer isn't going to pick you up all the time. But hey, whatever suits you I guess...
