    For a student you will be out with a trainer for 5 weeks. Sleeping in his truck (top bunk).

    The ppl that leave early have some prior experience. Some train for 3 weeks....some 1 week.....but students is 6 weeks including backing school

    Some of the Dollar General accounts they keep your run close so that you can get back and sleep in a truck they have for you. It's the only account I know that does this. That the one in Ardmore OK. I pick up a trainee Monday morning. What makes you thin the trainees don't snore to :)

    No you can wear an undershirt... the polo shirts are not like wearing a uniform, quiet comfortable.

    Well after finally getting transportation together(long story) and getting my mom's estate settled finally, I will be reapplying with Averitt. I hope they'll still take me after I couldn't go before...

    Hopefully, I hope I haven't waited too long to reapply :| Last place I applied to called me back and verified and was telling me all about their company and how much I would make. Then at the end when I'm all excited and ready to confirm they tell me I don't meet their requirements and that I'd have to take a refresher course... Why bother calling me then?

    Would it be that bad if you have extra training? Averitt might turn around and say the same thing...

    Training is always a good thing in my mind. If nothing else, it helps reaffirm what we may already know.

    the $1500 that it would cost me is a bit of a downfall. If they do say I need it I won't be able to rejoin until after tax time...
