I have a ex averitt driver that came were i work. he said he always stuck a terminal waiting on freight then had to drive it so in reality he was not home much. he an older guy maybe 50. he is a little slow so maybe they didn't like him. look at OD as well they are running adds here. also if you would like to haul fuel sky is the limit here as well..im pretty sure i went through orientation with you. good money here local..

I thought about hauling fuel for one of the companies here like pope and wage ect.. but I heard there pay is funny they get so much per load and pump time and ext . and it only pays real well if you get on a good route.. so i was told ....

AN OLDER GUY,MAYBE 50, oh, that hurts. You throw freight for 35 years and you're bound to slow down.:biggrin_2559:

I think Eagle trans is per hr, Ive heard good things about them. out of Selma a few others in Selma. Do not be scared to look at the Local SOD companies. alot of guys shy away because they think its farming but driving is driving it doesn't matter what you have strapped down. I haul SOD and take home over 55,000 a year (yes i said take home) and very laid back. only thing is you drive that road tractor in subdivision .
