I'm considering going to Averitt, do they accept refresher courses through a school: I would like to know how are the weekly miles & pay for regional drivers. I live in NC near Burlington

    Refresher Training Program

(Regional & Dedicated/Supply Chain Drivers Only)
Been out of the driver’s seat for a while? Only have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience and it was 4-5 years ago? This program will provide you a minimum of 1 week of paid training at $600 per week for Regional drivers and $500-$600 for Dedicated/Supply Chain drivers. After successfully completing the course, Regional drivers will earn starting pay of 40-46 cpm depending on location.
Dedicated/ Supply Chain driver pay is account dependent. Please click on the specific position you're interested in for pay and other details.
If the haz mat endorsement is required, you must apply for it within 30 days of completing training (Averitt will reimburse cost upon receipt)
Apply now or call 1-888-WORK-4-US (967-5487)!

From the website, and as for miles, that will depend on a number of factors, but it averages out to around 2K a week or better. But I would definitely talk to a recruiter as to the specifics of your situation and driving time.
