Does anyone know if a local driver hire (CDL grad) has his training OTR or is it also local?

Thanks. I don't trust a recruiter with this question.

If you are signing on for a local job, I'd assume the training would be local. I hope I that makes sense...

I would assume it would be local, but can't say yes for sure. Ask the recruiter and see what they say, i know you don't trust them and i usually don't either but when i was hired in with averitt every thing the recruiter told me turned out to be true.

I was considering applying for a City driver position myself and wondering this same question. Did you ever get an answer on it?

Yeah I did. They say that the training is also local. If you're a CDL grad the only catch is that your school needs to be from their approved list. If not, then you need around 6 months experience for them to train you.
