Averitt pays HHG miles I went with Averitt because I thought they were one of the better companies. Not only do they short you by paying HHG miles, their system shorted me as much as 25% on occasion. I spoke to middle level management about this and was eventually told, "well... that's our system". Which translates to, take it or leave it. So I left it. It is also very difficult to get detention out of them. I never got a lot of miles, averaged about 1700.
