Averitt expands presence in Atlanta

Averitt Express recently announced it is expanding its presence in Atlanta. With a larger new distribution facility in West Atlanta, Averitt says it is adding more flexibility and power to its Atlanta network, which consists of three facilities located on the Atlanta perimeter in West Atlanta, Norcross and Marietta.

The company says the new facility, located at 5887 Fulton Industrial Blvd., has double the amount of dock space and nearly twice as many dock doors as the previous location. Averitt currently employs 137 associates at its West Atlanta facility and currently is seeking to fill positions for regional drivers.
