Averitt expanding truckload service into four new states

Averitt Express announced Wednesday, March 4, that it is expanding its asset-based truckload coverage to include Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and New Jersey. With the opening of the new states, Averitt says it now provides asset-based coverage for truckload shipments across half the nation — 25 states in the South and Midwest now are directly served by the company’s fleet.

Averitt says its integrated services team provides coverage of the other 25 states and Canada through the use of partner carriers. The company says its transportation fleet currently includes more than 1,500 road units specifically dedicated to truckload transportation.
