I am surprised they put you in a Hotel. For me, that is a score up for Barr-Nunn. I remember so many years ago when they ac compressor on my truck started billowing smoke. No hotel or anything. But that's PAM.

profit 521, so they finally fixed your truck, putting you in a motel each night, shows they care about their drivers. Yes, safety, is important as well as the logging, if I think I can not get there on time I let them know. I told them I will not run illegal. They now ask if I can make it on time or change the appt. time. I would recommend this company, the only way I would leave is for a local regional company or team with my buddy of mine.

Its just a varying cpm, depending on the length of the trip. It pays more per mile for trips you complete that are shorter.

band pay is extra pay for shorter runs. It should be on the website. 0-100 .88 cpm, 101-200 .10cpm 201-300 .04 cpm 301-400 .03 cpm 401-550 .02 cpm 551-over your cpm . The extra pay is added to what your base rate is. So if you start at .36 cents per mile and you go 250 miles you would get .40 cpm. I hope this makes sense to you. They do run shorter miles but you get the extra pay. Any other questions let me know.

I run OTR. I like all the sights, have seen some interesting things. Would rather be home nightly but there are no local trucking jobs in our area till I get few more years of driving. Some day, maybe I will be able to find one, have been OTR for 2 years now. There are always postive and negative with every job. So for now I will keep on trucking, lol.

Barr-Nunn seems to have a need for drivers. They called me the other day wanting me to come back. They are a good company. But I have a sweet local gig (home every night). Won't be giving that up! It's good to see some action in the Barr-Nunn section. Keep up the updates guys! I for one,am enjoying them.

Hey Bikerdon, I am giving them your name. They just upped the recruitment bonus too. Something about $500. plus .02 per mile, plus another $500. after 4 months. Not sure, I was very sleepy yesterday. But, if you get it, you owe me a dinner when we meet. lol.
