You can also scan your stuff if you have a scanner at the house. Sometimes you will get credited quicker than if you use the Transflow because so few drivers scan from home. I'm not a fan of faxing. It's too easy to get lost if it gets mixed in with other inbound stuff.

:biggrin_25514:Update-Company has been giving awards for safe driving, also they put in for drawings for 25 drivers. I won that too, what a surprise. They seem to take care of their drivers. I have to admit it started out rocky but has improved, after I told them I will not drive past my hours. Things are much better, glad I switched companies. Anyone thinking of switching companies let me know, our company is looking for more drivers.

We still doing updates here? hope so, i don't know where else to look, well anyway heres mine, 2 1/2 weeks in and still liking it so far, a few kinks though and we worked them out. such as, switching me to running nights twice, put my foot down and stopped that, that was not what was agreed on but i know some freight has to be moved so i'll work with'em on it. the constant handholding needs to stop though, i'm not a rookie and its starting to chafe my ego a little. I know i'm regional, but i would like to work more than 8 hrs. a day, 40 in a 5 when i have 70 is a waste of my time and resources, lets use'em. enough complaining, the band pay is great, I love it, equipment is fine, no junk yet. lanes are good with good customer base, driver recruitment plan looks awsome but i'm not much into doing that( don't want people blaming me i guess)LOL nuff said, stay safe out there.

Gotta be willing to run nights in the North East. If you turn down enough loads when you have hours to run them, they won't put up with it very long. They are short drivers so maybe a bit longer than normally. I run misty at night with zero traffic and turn 8-11 loads a week.

Sometimes if you leave the house on a day shift you will get stuck with a short day then break 16 hours because most of the next day's work will be over nite freight. That's the nature of most short haul North East freight. I leave out Sun 11pm and my breaks are 8-10 hours. When I leave out Mon morning, I usually get at least on break of 14-17 hours because all the day freight was covered.

finally had a great start to the week, looking like i was gonna make some real money with 3 loads in by this evening, 10 hr. break and maybe 2 more tomorrow and Bam.. put the brakes on. planning can't do better then a nite load tomorrow nite, what the? what a waste of 14 hrs. sitting around, flatbedding ain't like this, you get mt you get loaded, maybe have to wait a couple hrs. but thats it, i figure with this stunt i just lost out on roughly $280.00 not happy about it. i could see this if i was in the middle of nowhere, but c'mon, st.louis? the freight capital of the country? i'll let slide this time, but one more week of low miles is gonna do it for me, can't justify being gone all week without the bank to back it up. too many other options. can't say its coz i'm regional either, i been regional for last 12 years with the flat and home every weekend same as this and was still pulling 2400 to 2700 a week in miles, just wasn't as clean and sweat free as i am now..lol..the difference in money will buy alot of showers though.

well I got my truck n trailer sold, guy's picking it up Saturday, got the new truck lined up, an 05 387 pete and now I'm gettin nervous about slappin 10 grand down, signin on another note, and puttin it here as intended. went back over the last 3 weeks and it don't look good, 2023,1768,2042 in miles and I was always on time and available for reload, I go from point a to point b nonstop, don't like truckstops, too busy and noisey to rest in them. starting tonight the hell with matching the Q-com, I'm running the books old school and see what happens with the P.T.A. s from here on out.
