Just got another raise. Northeast Regional is now capped at .50cpm on the band pay. Still here 6 years and a month. Now is the best time to work for Barr Nunn. They are getting away from the DPF filtered Internationals. They are getting a mix of the Cummins DEF motors, and I believe the Detroit spec'ed Cascadias. That means less down time going forward with good miles and Better pay!

it is true no doubt. i know of many companies that pay 50 cents per mile but there is always a catch.

I think the driver shortage is a fools play, since it just doesn't make sense with the "slow freight" comments. If freight is "slow," why does anybody need more drivers? More industry urban BS, I think. $.26? I wish people would just say no. -
Good comments on annual miles. I pay attention to rates, hoping to better my ROI, and every magic number I've seen hasn't increased my annual gross income, it's just a lot of shorter trips. More traffic, redlights, more shippers and consignees, more DOT regulations, more BOL's to submit, like that. So I stick to OTR work with a good company, but still watching closely, you know, just in case.
