This was just the crown on the garbage I went though since the first of the year. My recommendation is to not work for this company. I no longer do.
Facts:
East of missippi river only, O/O have priority, Forced dispatch, Your a number not a person, good money per mile, Rand Mcnally Practical miles (on loaded only, not deadhead)<this is still not what you drive, Band Pay only on loaded milage- Band doesnt pay on deadhead. Layover often and if load planning can get you moving in 23.75 hrs - No layover pay. These are some of the secrets they dont want you to know.
i've had that done to me more than i care to remeber.News flash i think their going under..and they just want the drivers to quit.I have been sitting home for over a week,no load just sitting home i have to sell back my vacation and start looking for a new job, times are hard but the bills keep coming,i might have to work for werner or swift.with them i can count on some kind of income.

We had 2 trucks leased to B-N, had a great dispatcher, made good money, never had a later load with either truck. Then the owner retired as Pres, put his daughter in the top spot, and every bad thing you're reading has happened since she started sending out her daily Qual-Comm messages from "the President" - We pulled one lease in Dec, 07, and our son stayed there until he lost his truck, this year. His paycheck for the last time out was $34.00. I understand she has implemented all these "little dictator" rules for company drivers, too. So you're probably seeing a company on the decline.
