The speeds for Barr-Nunn's trucks are as follows:

    Standard company FL Columbia-65

Team Condo Columbia (yes, some solo's have these)-68

One of the new Prostars - 62 (they also have apu's)

I'm pretty sure the older Internationals are at 65, too.

Oh yeah, PLEASE read all you can about BN on this site. There are a lot of things to be aware of.

Once again, they may work out just fine for ya'll. Do your reasearch and talk to as many divers as you can on the road. But definitely plan to stay at least 6 months if you sign on, otherwise, you'll loose a lot of money leaving!

    Stick :druid:

Ugh... Dont know what this company's problem is. This company seems shady. Last friday they told my boyfriend that they had a truck waiting for him once he got all his paperwork sent in and today they told him they arent hiring. Not only that but they said that his 8 months experience isnt enough when friday it was more than fine. Well...Hope you all do well and thanks for your help.

I worked for them about 2 yrs ago. Good company just could not get enough miles 2000 a week dont so it. But u have to have a min. Of 1 year otr before they will consider u, also buddy works for them said they were laying of northeast drivers due to ecomoney and closing the washing court house terminal due to the closing of dhl which would be about right good luck

Barr-Nunn now only requires 8 mon. exp. There is as hiring freeze right now in most areas.
They are closing the washington court house terminal. But will be opening a new one closer to Columbus. So it is really just a relocation for that terminal.

Hey All, I run the Ohio regional fleet. I've been with Barr-Nunn since June 08'. Things got a little slow around the holidays. But that seems to happen everywhere.
Last week I got 2600 miles.Left Sunday night, home Friday night. This week I got 2700 miles.Left Sunday night, home Friday night. The band pay is really nice.Alot of runs are under the 550 miles. So you'll be getting extra .02 or,.03,.04 a mile. I recommend them. I came over from Roehl. What a difference!! I will watch this thread to see how things go for you. Good Luck!!

I talked to guy that was doing that salary pay. He seeemed happy with that. Just checked the web site. Looks like they are offering .42 per mile with a hazmat to start out on the NE regional.I'm not sure what kind of miles that area gets. That doesn't seem like bad pay to get home on weekends.I think they try to get you atleast 2200 miles. Let me know how it goes for you.
