Important Truckers Forum Notice!

Biodiesel & Alternative Fuels Forum This is a forum to discuss bio-diesel and other kinds of alternative fuels. We think bio-diesel is the next revolution as Hydrogen costs too much to make and putting food (Ethanol) in your tank is not feasible and will cause food prices to skyrocket. What say you on bio-diesel? Should we start this bio-diesel revolution and kick it into high gear?

"Self-loathing"? That's called "projection," Bubbie. I love my country, and have no desire to leave it again. I do, however, despise what my Government has become, but that's an entirely different discussion. All of humanity are my brothers and sisters. When they suffer, I suffer. How this translates into "America hating" eludes me.

I have lived in three, and spent more than two weeks each in several more. And how do you define "greatness"?

What does my definition of greatness have to do with you feeling bad because we use corn for fuel?

What countries leader do they call "Leader of the Free World"?

Not France or China.

Funny, you don't often hear the French, for example, calling the US President "Leader of the Free World." Mostly, it's Americans who call him that.

As for "greatness," you claimed America to be the greatest country on Earth. I have to wonder what standard you are using to make that statement.

As for my "feeling bad," I don't. I am morally outraged. That is very different.

The concept is far easier and far less expensive than the corn based solutions and it also lookes like "the cost of ownership factor" is less with HHO.

No gumming up for the fuel system either, as corn based stuff can wreak havoc on seals, filters etc and can be costly to retrofit to older engines, unlike HHO.

Imagine just grabbing the garden hose to fill a water resevoir each morning. Hopefully this will happen as I've read that both the U.S. Gov't and a Major Automobile Company have signed onto this program and will begin using it somewhere around 2010-2012.
didn't that guy get "food poisoning" ?

the balance of all animals other than us has been regulated over the years by survival of the fittest, who are we to screw with mother nature?

And why is it that you are "morally outraged"?

You want us to feed the world?

What's the world done to deserve our help?

The Anarchist and Nihilist within me would agree with that. I do my best to keep them from holding sway over my opinions, however.
