Important Truckers Forum Notice!

Biodiesel & Alternative Fuels Forum This is a forum to discuss bio-diesel and other kinds of alternative fuels. We think bio-diesel is the next revolution as Hydrogen costs too much to make and putting food (Ethanol) in your tank is not feasible and will cause food prices to skyrocket. What say you on bio-diesel? Should we start this bio-diesel revolution and kick it into high gear?

B5 and B20 biodiesel are among the offerings for truckers at the new Nambe Falls Travel Center, a project of the Nambe Pueblo that is 15 minutes north of Santa Fe, N.M., on U.S. 84/285.

As an Alta Fuels and Blue Sun Biodiesel station, the travel center dispenses fuels for regular, flex-fuel and diesel vehicles and has a separate fuel island for semi-trucks and other large vehicles. The Nambe Falls Travel Center is only the third store in New Mexico to offer E10, E85, B5 and B20.

The travel center, which had its grand opening April 26, is the first retail business of the Nambe Pueblo Development Corp.

"I believe that this venture being our first of this kind is a very positive one, in ways of providing employment for community members and bringing in revenue for the tribe," said Nambe Pueblo Gov. Earnest Mirabal.

The travel center includes an Arby's, a Java City coffee bar, a lounge with a fireplace and free wireless Internet, a convenience store, a post office, a discount tobacco shop and a selection of local jewelry, arts and crafts. http://www.etrucker.com/apps/news/article.asp?id=68590

I am shocked that Santa Fe would allow any store that would allow semis to stop at it, to built any where near their tree hugger non-paradise city.
