Important Truckers Forum Notice!

Biodiesel & Alternative Fuels Forum This is a forum to discuss bio-diesel and other kinds of alternative fuels. We think bio-diesel is the next revolution as Hydrogen costs too much to make and putting food (Ethanol) in your tank is not feasible and will cause food prices to skyrocket. What say you on bio-diesel? Should we start this bio-diesel revolution and kick it into high gear?

dipetane is it really worth it or just gypsy water

I have always run power service year round as a lubricant anti gel water dispersant etc. now I see an article that land line is going to have in there magazine in august or sept. adlist thats what the salesman says according to the ooida article a well respected lab ran tests and saw a 3% increase in fuel mileage not really earth shattering but its enough to pay for the product 1 case equals 4 jugs treats 800 gallons 89.95 per case 20 to 25 dollars additional to ship to your door. the other thing this lab found was that the product in three 2004 trucks with isx motors reduced blowbuy by 30% in these trucks the claim being that it breaks down the carbon in your motor and rings and frees up the motor in some senses maybe i can see these tests being accurate I know that when I dont run power service my 2005 isx seems to smoke quite a bit more but do i get better fuel mileage im not so sure anyones tests input theories are apreciated.

never heard of it but I know on my last cat the only way I could get that pig over 5mpg was to run Lucas. It picked up enough mpg to pay for th lucas and you still have the benefit of better fuel system lube

I have run Power Service for years in the winter and never had any problems with filter freezing, but never noticed any difference in milage.Lucas does seem to help milage a little, but I`m not sure. One thing Lucas fuel injector cleaner did do in my Mustang GT with over 200,000 miles was turn off the check engine light so it must have done something.I am now putting it in the tank of everything I own.
