Important Truckers Forum Notice!

Biodiesel & Alternative Fuels Forum This is a forum to discuss bio-diesel and other kinds of alternative fuels. We think bio-diesel is the next revolution as Hydrogen costs too much to make and putting food (Ethanol) in your tank is not feasible and will cause food prices to skyrocket. What say you on bio-diesel? Should we start this bio-diesel revolution and kick it into high gear?

I drove by that several times making deliveries or pick-ups in the area. When I first started driving in the area, I turned around at the gate, trying to find a distribution warehouse about 1/2 a mile north. Fermilab has the largest atom smasher so far in use.

Antimatter is annihilated in this universe as soon as it is created, never gets to the point where there are serious quantities available, so far. I doubt that the Large Hadron Collider will be that successful. If it indirectly proves that String Theory is plausible, that will probably be its claim to fame. But researchers will be using it for years doing all sorts of things, possibly, something not yet dreamed of will be discovered there.

I didn't have a clue, but took a hint from a college student with a backpack who stopped at the construction site while on a cross country bike trip. I suppose the place was on his itinerary. The site was wide open with no security.

We go about our daily lives unaware of nearby research facilities. Argonne National Laboratory in Du Page County, IL, came to my attention years after I moved from Ottawa, IL, known as Radium City. Ottawa was the site of a company that painted aircraft dials during World War II. Those employees who survived radiation exposure were studied at Argonne for the rest of their lives.

The Large Hadron Collider has been damaged twice since Sept. 10 startup. It will be out of commission for at least two months.

Yeah, it's funny that repair itself is simple and quick. It's the warm up and cool back down that are gonna eat up most of the down time. That monster is kept just a few degrees above absolute zero, and I thought I read that they can only isolate into quadrants.
