As most of you probably know by now, today, April 3, 2012, a tornado hit the Schneider O. C. in Dallas, Texas.
Thankfully, I can report that, thus far, everyone is accounted for and no injuries are reported. Furthermore; the facility proper in undamaged. The yard is what took the hit.
Word is also, the Flying J next to the O.C. is in bad repair, but I can't find any definites on it.
With that, I don't know what else to say on the matter. Therefore; I'll just share some photo's that I've nabbed. Some are news pix, others were taken by a driver on the grounds and are credited to him, Napoleon Gutierrez. He posted them, and more, on Schneider's Facebook page.
Please note, I jest only because no one here was hurt. Less the injuries, I feel no shame in making light. So, please don't think I'm being cruel, mean or what have you. I just tend to look o n the lighter side and try to ease the tension. Especially since no one was hurt.
As for me, I was near Houston at the time.
First, a news video clip of the action in progress: Tornado tossing tractor-trailers into the air.
High Flying Action!
A worse than rookie mistake proves that tornadoes can NOT back a trailer.
