Do you ever go to Auctions or travel around to different Garage/Yard sales every year?


I find it ironic that I can never seem to find anything to purchase at these sales.

I have attended a few auctions in my time and found them interesting, but never bought anything.

MY sister used to be a fanatic about never missing a garage/yard sale.
I would go just to watch her have a good time as I was never interested in such events.

so technically today is my first day of vacation - but I did not have any hours to run a turn last night so I got a bonus day.

yesterday I stopped by the computer whenever i passed by the kitchen - but actually got a lot done in the yard..

40lbs fertilizer
35lbs of crabgrass/weed killer
50lbs of lime ...

Last Friday, I got up at 4AM and started work at 5 and ended at 9PM.
Then I had other crap to do and didn't get home till 2AM on Saturday and did not go to bed till 3.
Then Eva-Mae (my 2 year old) woke me up at 7.

It F me up so bad, I haven't fully recovered yet.

This move has not gone smoothly at all. After multiple setbacks we are finally on the road and in Bakersfield.

The move was delayed first due to multiple reasons. We've encountered everything from a murder 2 houses a way to wiring problems, to having to leave my truck behind.
