I had a delivery in Easton, PA. After arriving on time and pulling into the dock, I watched as big rig after big rig pulled in alongside me, got unloaded and then left. The customer had started to unload my trailer, but after about 15 minutes they had stopped. So I went into the Shipping/Receiving office to see what was going on. The lady behind the glass told me that she'd check into it and get them going on the unloading. When I returned to my truck I noted that unloading had began again.

how much does a load typically pay per mile when all expenses are factored in
wouldnt it be nice to work for a company that let you drive a nice well equipped truck, maybe one with a mini microwave, a small refriderater, that way you spend all your money in the truck stops, make a good wage so you can pay all your bills and have a little left over for whatever, a newer truck n trailer that is well kept up, where the dispatchers respect you and know that you have a life out side the truck when you get home on the weekend, and welcome you back on sunday or monday,
Im 21 years old looking for good company to start out with. Not sure where to go or who to apply with. Have an approval letter from Werner and FFE, but dont know anything out either company. Is either one of these companies a good starting company? Any advice on these companies? Or any other companies you recomend to apply with?
The local job I had cut my hours by 50%, so I had to make a move. I wasn't beat up over it, because I was tired of local work anyway. I applied with a company I previously applied for back in 2009. They didn't have any openings then...but they did this time. They run the southeast and have a terminal right near my house. Perfect! Landed the job back in June of 2012 and been here since. Miles are great, hometime is great(a little more than I'd like actually), and the loads are gravy. I am really
Last Thursday I suffered my first breakdown. I lost my rear drive shaft near Temple, TX. Monday they rented me a car and sent me to Carlisle, PA to recover another truck. They said the driver was flown to a Dallas hospital. The truck is three months old, Cascadia. I don't like it. My DBL told me to expect to have a newer truck when I get back. Yay, now I can go slow like a real Schneider driver.
They loaded me with a relay to NC. So today I finally got to meet up with a guy I met
