I know you can and will read this, Lord...so here goes...

I am so sorry for some of the things I have done in my life and even lately how I have been. Nothing REAL bad, but not really the best either, LOL. I just wanted to tell you I still think about you and tell you how I think a bit. I think it is better to do it like this as I consider it kind of an open prayer that ALL can see and maybe understand as well.

At the grocery store tonight, I bought a whole, cooked, BBQ chicken.
On the packaging, there is a list of ingredients.
Guess what's in the chicken.
CHICKEN.

I took my CDL permit test on my 50th birthday and passed all sections...so I am looking forward to getting behind the wheel of a rig soon. Though my father hauled cars for several years, I've never ridden in a tractor trailer.
Any other guys out there who are rookies in their 50s?

I have a Colorado CDL which I have had for 2 years. Prior to that I had a California regular license. My question is when Insurance does a drivers check will they only look at the Colorado license or will they look at California too. The reason is I have a DUI in California about 3 years ago. I am an O/O trying to get insurance.

5 bucks to park - 8 bucks to get into tractor pull - 3 bucks for lemon shake up...

but I had a great time - and my neice got a reserve grand champion on her moo-cow.

(it later sold for 5600) so that will pay for some of her college in a few years...

the tractor pull went well - and saw a ton of guys I had not seen for years.
(I moved away 11 years ago).

I'm feeling a little depressed these days with a side of fear and some nostalgia.
And I absolutely know why.
And I know I'm not the 1st, not even close.
And I also know it's no big deal. But, it's bugging me anyway.

I have only a month left in my thirties.
In a month, I will be 40 and, honestly, it's bothering me a little.

went to the beerhall last evening for dinner and welll... BEER.

just woke up and am getting ready to head to parents farm for the 4h fair and to visit old friends and family.

will be gone for a few days - but will return to start on that bathroom fiasco remodel that has been stagnant for almost 2 years!
