Reception been going in and out for a spell. Checked the board and found a couple of cold joints. Resoldiered and it worked great for a bit but now the reception is completely gone. Checked it on another antenna that I know is good and still no reception. Can't identify any other cold joints on the board. Nothing looks overheated. Looking for a good repair shop around the Tri-Cities Tenn. area. There used to be one at the White Pine exit (4) on I-81 but it's no longer there. Thought it moved ...

I recently leased to this company out of St.Peters,Mo. shortest lease in my life, I left Barr-Nunn for this company based on promises made that they would allow me to train my wife and we could start the groundwork for a rolling retirement, gave BN a 2 week notice and left in good standing. I have been driving OTR for 15 Years. I Have driven in seven countries, through war-torn areas of the world and have seen a lot. If I can make one suggestion to new 'blood', stay out! The industry is transforming into a multicultural international boondoggle with no benefit to the individual driver. Why is it that drivers like to park on the fuel islands, go inside do all their business, then decide to come back out and maybe move their trucks forward, or better yet, leave. Mean while behind them the lines back up. These are the same drivers that complain about waiting. I will bet these are the same drivers that have to use the sit down toilets to versus the urinals to pee. Like I said in my last blog i am going back to driviing after 6 years of being away from the industry. Here is the reason for this blog.
