Man it's been a while since I've been on the Report. I quit posting mainly because I felt I had nothing new to say. Then some other things began to really occupy my mind.

My DBL was on vacation last week, so everything is pretty jacked up. My entire routine gone to #&$@:-&:!$ Where I was hitting the house every other night, now I've only made the weekend. Earlier in the week my DBL was on vacation. You know how it is when someone tries to do someone else's job? Yeah. The lady filling in screwed up. Someone changed my NAT (Next Available Time) to four a.m. the next day. So I scored a whole other day off. Glad they are switching me to salary.

Now they killed another Friday off because my DBL forgot a long time ago to sign me up for some safety class. So instead of being home right now, I sit in Dallas waiting class time. He's followed ...

This being election season one can't help but notice the eye pollution that is plaguing the roadways: a barrage of campaign signs. I have noticed two types of signs for the most part: "name - party (Republican) - and office" and the other reads "name - office."

It seems to me that candidates who are "other than Republican" appear to be ashamed of their party affiliation and refuse to put it on their ads in hopes that they will get elected on the idea that ...

Things, for the most part, have rolled well and not much interesting to say. Hence; my absence.

Typically, when I dream about work it's almost always the same thing: I have taken off driving and realized my 10 was not over yet so quickly must find another place to stop before my QualComm logs me driving and violating HOS.

Of course I wake up in a panic and have to look around to make sure I didn't really drive.

Once I narrowed my search of companies by applying my "wants" and "needs" list I have come down to two completely different companies. This surprised me because I wasn't expecting such a vast difference. One company is a flatbed company with a fully automatic fleet and the other is a reefer company with Eaton Fuller Super 10's. Both are going to keep me out about the same amount of time and both pay fairly well, I think, for a newbie driver like me. Obviously the flatbed ...

Today begins my new week. Took off Sunday & Monday for my youngest's ear/adenoid surgery. That worked out well. Wife was glad to have the help, especially since after the surgery his anesthesia made him combative and cry for a couple hours or so non-stop.

But the stuff they gave him before he went in, we asked for some take-out of it. That kid was a fun drunk. His head was flopped back cause he couldn't hold it up and he grinned and laughed at us.
