Just a note to the new the new drivers. Yhere seems to be things that are not being taught to by your mentors. Maybe they do not knon them selves but there are simple courtesous habits most of us were taught that are now lacking. Such as use of the shiny thing hanging on the doors, mirrors. Use them, please. Look before you pull out just because I'm coming up the hill alot faster than you does not mean I'm empty. My rule on [passing another truck is that I have them by at least 5 mphs and there is not anyone coming in the lane I need to pass, If there is I wait. No reason to slow down another driver when I'm already stuck, it sucks be courteous and wait till its clear. High beams, I know the new projector halogen bulbs do not like being turned on and off, but do not under any circumstance use your high beams in my mirror when I pass. First it blinds me, when I can not see I slowdown. Second its rude and third its illegal because it creates a unsafe situation. Fog lamps or low beams or nothing. When you pull into a fuel stop, get your fuel, windows oil whatever then pull off the fuel islands, and stay with you truck when in line to fuel. Empty trucks not even at the pump yet is becoming all to common. I have seen alot of tampering to unattended trucks, no call for either one. Use the parking places before you wander off to Micky D's. When your going to back into a space let the cross traffic go before you pull out and block the driveways. Do not run door to door with another truck blocking the interstate for miles, and do not speed up when being passed. Common courtey is no longer common, and it should be.
