Today started early, six am. We arrived on site and I pretriped the truck and backed it down the dock. That was all I did today that pretains to trucking, I spent the rest of the day on the ship we are working on. The guys were in the tank mucking out the old oil and cleaning the tanks. Today we had our 40 hour hazwoper training class. We did some work in the class room finding information on chemicals and what would happen if certain ones were mixed. We used the Niosh book and some other books along with MSDS. Then for the second part of the day we did some confined space resuce training.
