To: feeling failure - Know you are not along. I can say I have been there. I think the blue collar workers are getting more weary ever day. Sometimes I think no matter how good you do the job. Greed has brought this vocation down to were it is now. I think we are heading for another great loss in the country. I believe it will happen in Calif. A dollar earn the honest way is better than dollar earned the greed or dishonest way. Think of this.. A set back is a set up for a come back. God will sort them out large and small. Thanks For the all the stuff you have hauled to the stores.
It took me a year and and a half of trying to find a driving job. I finally found one with a real good company. I have not started with them as of this post. I leave in a couple of weeks for orientation. God has directed me to this company I am very thankful for the oportunity. Thank you all for the prayers.
I'm so sorry to hear of your experience with Prime, but it's completely indicative of their constant treatment of drivers as ATM's for the Springfield office employees.
My best wishes go out to you. Your post shows yet another example of how drivers are fair weather friends. I hope you find the courage and strength to keep on trying, and to keep on fighting. It is true for everyone, and even more true for truckers. Nobody will take care of you but you. Good luck, friend. If there is anything I can do to help, please ask.
I'll be praying for you and your family. Your right safety is first. You know alot of companys out there do stink. You mention Fla. try CCC (Comcar) out of Auburndale they are a very good company, my husband worked for them until October 2008 and then the Lord needed him more than we all did. Company: CCC Comcar. We traveled the 48 states and out for 5-6 wks. God Bless and hang in there
The Lord will not put more on you than you can handle.
