I could be wrong but I think CSA is BS - another government program that will fade into insignificance. They say CSA is suppose to eliminate 15% of the nations drivers, oh really, then where are they going to get their drivers from, Mexico? Canada? America is not like Europe as much as the scum sucking liberals in government would like us to be. America demands cheap fuel and cheap freight. When Europeans visit their families or deliver freight they do that over hundreds of miles, America does it over thousands of miles. What the scum sucking college puke government liberals have never figured out is that the trucking industry competes with all the other blue collar jobs for new recruits. Why should a young person become a trucker when he/she can make more money and stay in his hometown as a plumber, electrician, or a lineman etc...So the moral of the story is that the trucking industry will never pay enough to attract a lot of young smart people, and life will eventually go back to normal and CSA will fade away or be so watered down with exceptions it wont matter. 2nd thought, I'm not wrong, I'm right.
i agree. i personally think they should have did this years a go. hos and CSA 2010 are 2 different things but working together. Its time that drives are held to the fire and take responibility for their equipment.
I agree, thanks for the responce! Mark
It has never ceased to amaze me how the industry has gone from drivers who were respected for their profession to where we are now..I am an old fart, i guess, but never have I climbed out of my rig at a shipper or receiver without first looking in the mirror..Hey, the stuble is there from running all night and the shirts a little wrinkled, but the hair is combed, as is the beard and the shirt is tucked neatly in...& most of all, NO B>O> .. thats absolutely disgusting..I always kept a box of wet ones for quick in the bunk wash ups, how hard is that? anyways..
