Yes..... I would like to take this time to give thanks.... It has been a tremendously stressful year with many trials and tribulations overcome. I have survived... yet again... I wish to give thanks to the almighty creator for allowing me to experienced life again at age 48. My story has many ups and downs... High points and low points... A roll a coaster of emotions and happenings that would have killed a lesser soul. I am by far from the finish line and know in my hart I have just started the ...

  2. God laughed and then....

    by , 11.09.2010 at 10.16 PM
Well, It's been a eventful month. I arrived home after training for 2 weeks driving over the road with Roehl Trainers. I had (2) different personalities to deal with (Learn from). I did exactly as told and made it home alive and without loosing my cool. Both my trainers were from Deep South. I on the other hand am from Upstate NY. Needless to say I kept it ALL BUSINESS. Small chat was about them not me as they really did not care who I was or what I was about. I was there just to supply them with ...

  3. Home Time

    by , 10.30.2010 at 09.07 PM
It's between deployment sessions here at the home front . I have completed Evo 1 and now await my deployment into Evo 2. It looks like next week sometime I will launch. Meanwhile I tend to home time duties and complete some book work which is pretty much impossible to complete while in the driving realm. I have total respect for this vocation and respect all the true professionals doing this job. For the traffic on the road thats not commercial, well I feel all drivers should take a course in Commercial ...

Well...... I am a changed man.... What I have done so far is simply just short of unbelievable. I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming at times... Here is my Georgia terminal and here are the trips I have driven so far. I have been to beer making places and paper mills and also here and there... People are people now mainly faceless. I have even delivered to Quad Graphics down in Georgia.... Full Circle for me.... I am doing well. This has been a eye opening experience in so many ...

Well... Evo week 1 is complete and in the bag. Lets list the states traveled through.

Got the call tonight from my 1st trainer... I leave for NH tomorrow morning (afternoonish) and will be headed South. I have spoken 3 times already with my trainer and all seems swell. He laughs alot like me and tells me to not to worry... He has some space available for me to bring some Microwavable food so feel free he says but NO COOLER space... I told him that quite alright and I would be purchasing what ever I needed but would take him up on some can storage and perhaps some bread... I have ...

  7. Awaiting Deployment

    by , 10.05.2010 at 09.06 PM
Well .... I have successfully converted my Wisconsin Class A to a NYS Enhanced Class A with Metal Coil (M) endorsement to boot. Load secure is NO JOKE and I'm still memorizing parts of the process. I will keep the Binder Chart in my Briefcase for reference just (encase... get it?) somehow I am to pull a flat bed instead of a Dry Van. I set here at home reviewing 3 weeks worth of learning. It's been 12 days since I have shifted and steered the big truck... I am sure I have sever rust and my new learned ...
