A freind of mine has his CDL in illinois. It is my understanding that when he gets pulled over in his everyday driving car, he is held to a bit stricter rules than just anyone with a D class. If he wanted to get out of driving his DL would still have a cdl class label. Is there anyway to have that removed and go back to a regular D class?
