I overslept this morning. I reset my alarm every time it went off for another ten minutes. Finally, I didn't here it again. I snapped up a few minutes before seven. I had planned to be on the road around four. Oops. No major loss. I had planned to be in Laredo earlier.

Just north of Austin traffic was backed up for a couple miles due to a wreck. We get up to the scene and the wreck is in the north bound lane. All our lanes were backed up because a cop sat blocking the inside lane ...

Not a lot to report. Made a good trip and good time. I rolled non stop from from Mathews, MO to Dallas. Saw several Hi-Po on the road in AR and TX.

As I got about five miles from the OC there were several cops on the shoulder of the bridge. A couple of cars parked. A lady sitting on the ground crying. It didn't look like a wreck. There was a guy looking over the side, so it made me wonder if we had a jumper into the river.

I dare not take a chance with Schneider, so ...

I've completed my first week solo and have reported back in after my weekend off. I dropped my truck at the OC and took my car home. I turned in a worked order to get some work done over the weekend.

This morning, while I was awaiting orders, I asked the shop if they happen to have any shelving laying around. Since I have a rookie truck, typically the cabinet shelves are pilfered. So a shop hand took me around to the trucks for sale and we salvaged some.
