A couple days ago I made delivery in Olive Branch, MS (just south of Memphis.) They had me another pick up set for a 1300 appointment. My drop location didn't have MTs. So I called in to let them know I needed an MT and that I didn't have the hours to make the 1300 appointment.
They said they would pull my load and find me something else. So I told them in that case I needed to head over to the W. Memphis OC to get a coolant leak fixed. And then it went downhill from there.

I am traditionally a night owl. Up late, up early. That's just how I roll. After a few days I crash and catch up on my sleep debt; reset and start all over. And now that I'm driving, odd hours just... well, makes it odder because bedtime at 1900 just doesn't make sense in my mind.

However; last night was just such a night. I ended work around 1800. I was bushed and I felt every inch of it. However; as bad as I need it, I still can't make myself go straight to bed.

I finally got some orders this morning around 8:15. Since the load doesn't deliver until tomorrow morning in El Paso, I didn't get into a hurry.

I pre-tripped my rig and discovered that the geniuses in the shop MAY have fixed my oil leaks, but they didn't refill my oil. So I had to go to driver services and do it myself. Figured that would take far less time.

Word up, G! Well, maybe they don't say that here in Virginia. Perhaps I can walk the town and throw some gang signs and see if I get any response other than weird looks. 'Cept I dunno any gang signs. Maybe if I get a Tupoc album....?
