I left El Paso this morning and booked it straight to the Dallas OC; scored in about 10 hrs of non-stop running.

At some point my DBL called and asked when I'll be in Olive Branch, MS. "I dunno. Sometime tomorrow."
"What time?"
"No Idea."
"You haven't done your trip plan?"
"Not that far ahead. I take it one day at a time. All I know is I plan to be in Dallas tonight.... About 8 hrs away."

So he tells ...

This morn I got a load. So I zipped over to pick it up. Dispatch read 11 PM, pre load. I figure, pre load, why wait until 2300?
So I arrive, they check my trailer and are satisfied. Then tell me to come back after 10 PM because my load hasn't even been manufactured yet. Lovely. Now I know.

Well, it really hasn't cost anything on my 70 because I had to drive an hour here anyway. I get a 10 break and start fresh. I'll be ok, even if it does kinda suck.
