Well the past few days have been pretty jacked up and definitely not worth my time away from my family.

Last night I had to sleep at the shipper's lot because, due to the delay in finding an MT, I arrived three hours after shipping went home.

Made delivery. Sat at the Pilot for about 8 hours. Sent five different messages to my DBL, each on a different concern. Copy/pasted them again before he went home. Never heard from him.

Then was hit with two loads ...

Got my truck checked in for Preventative Maintenance (PM) about 10 a.m. this morning. About 4:15 my DBL walked by and said, "You're still here? Thought you were gone by now. Lemme go check on your truck. I'll be right back." I know better than that. So I checked in on it around 4:30. They said still a few things left, will run into shift change so looks like it'll be ready around 1800.

I just now checked in again. Apparently "shift change" means "work ...
