Excitement for Sis and her Family... Posted 10.13.2008 at 09.42 AM by latanea Just got a call from my sis - (I saw them yesterday as they left to run over to the Renaissance festival in Waynesville Ohio. anyway - I ran back home and did not talk to her last night - but she just called...) seems they never made it to the festival - as they were sitting in a turn lane to enter the gates - a guy on a motorcycle (with his son riding behind him) was staring at the happening and drifted over and hit their car!... More of that round and round I do... Posted 10.11.2008 at 09.18 AM by latanea I ran down to Charleston WV last night - and then back home.. total run time was 10.7 hours... The hitch was that I had to stop at a customer on the way down and drop of a trailer. (your gonna love this one) I left Cincy on time (18 minutes early actually) and arrived at the customer not having stopped for ANYTHING except red lights... It was 10 minutes past 5pm.... Week 6 and it was good! Posted 10.10.2008 at 06.29 PM by ParkRanger Finally, I qualified on both trucks and also on the CDL Skills test this week! That means that next week all I have to do is qualify on the CDL driving test to get my CDL. I understand that according to the skills I had to show to get qualified on 2 trucks in school, the CDL skills test isn't a problem. There isn't anyone in our class that has tried their CDL test that hasn't passed it yet. I also am happy to report that my lovely wife seems to be doing well. She had a little setback... What kind of fool I'm I ? Posted 10.10.2008 at 09.18 AM by Paso Bill I'm 68 years old as a traveling salesmen I have a million plus accident free miles under my belt. I'm bored and missing the road , I'm single and in good health. Is it foolish for me to go through the school process just to drive for perhaps 3 years. You know you "know" the roads too well when you change lanes to avoid potholes automatically! somewhere in my subcomcious I remembered to get out of the right lane at the 131.6 mm on I65 south in Ky. hehheheh nothing better than returning home at night to see Cincy gleaming on the River... ahhhhhhh..... ... Help Me Posted 10.08.2008 at 01.07 PM by jhollingshed03 Hi to all fellow truckers thanks for reading this and to all who answer back thanks for your help.I got a speeding ticket back in January in my truck 53/35 but I know I wasnt going that fast instead of me going to court in febuary I let them convict me by not showing up I quit driving for swift a little after (pay issues) recently I tried to go back but they told me because of the ticket I cant be rehired.
