My first B.S. experance

I called a trucking school to aquire a "B" CDL. I just want to drive a smaller truck, the lady said 40 hours to qualify at $3,400.00.
I asked a question she turned me over to the head instructor, he answered my question. I explained I was going to secure a "B" license on my own. The instructor asked how much money the lady wanted. He said get you license come here I will work with you for one hour the charge would be $150.00 and you will get you CDL.
Now I understand...

guess what? after pulling the inspection plate off the tranny,little springs and things fell out that are NOT supposed to so won't be going out till tomorrow night. But THATS TRUCK DRIVIN. so a night off good deal, licker store should be open.

one day home

And I'm bored out of my skull. and my truck has to go into the shop tomorrow, seems the clutch brake is taking a dump, along with some other minor stuff. Like every time I turn the headlights frrom park to run, I lose all my bottom trl clearance lites, been running at nite on daytime headlights. annoying as all get out. plus I don't have a light on my speedometer. O.K. thats my tale of woe for the evening. I'm back to the t.v..

just to let ya know. Got home in one piece,dropped the trl and bobtailed to the house. carol was here waiting for me. has to go back to prineville tomorrow and take care of her daughter. So its video games and all the t.v. I want till I go out again. be safe!!

hey ya'll it's been awhile since I been on I finally started my new job with Maverick and haven't much time for being on line. I was a bit anxious during orientation cause what the recruiters don't tell you is that you have to pass a series of tests before you are offered a job. (and not just DOT physicals and drug screens ) So got through that, made it to securement training, that was the easy part. Then finally, graduated to my trainer

. Yeah, I thought that was a good thing too....

I'm a Maverick Driver!

Finished Orientation and a little training and will be on my way to specialized (glass) training tomorrow for a week. So far I must say that I am very impressed with the Maverick facilities, staff, and equipment. I will post updates when I have a chance.
