Sabbath trucker Posted 1 Week Ago at 11.07 PM by stoag77 I need advice on what are the best trucking companies that respect religious convictions. I am what is called a Sabbath keeper. I can work 6 days a week, but from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday I cannot work. Are there any other Sabbath keeping truck drivers out there.Should I maybe try Dedicated, or Regional. I'd like to go OTR as long as I can keep the Sabbath day.Can anyone help?? stoag77 Four-Wheeler (New Member)

Safe wishes Posted 1 Week Ago at 03.07 PM by truckerswife11 Christmas is here and gone already, wow!! We had a wonderful christmas with 10 to 12 inches of snow; for that white christmas. Another year has gone by in our lives. Time seems to fly. I took hubby to local Pilot truckstop (of course nothing but black ice and snow) to take off on his next adventure. With winter conditions the way they are it will be a tough trip for sure, especially with I90 already closing for avalanche problems and more snow to come in the passes. I've been... 200,000 Miles in 2009 Posted 1 Week Ago at 06.04 AM by Hyper Had a nice weekend at home, actually, I have been home for more nights in December then I have been out. Doing a lot of in state and local work. Pay is still decent. But I am more then ready to put it back into the wind and roll. I have this number in my head for 2009. 200,000 Miles. Done it before, but never with 1-2 nights a week at the house. So I am going to give it a shot, and see, if the situation I am in, is really the best trucking job ever! Should be doable. Update Posted 1 Week Ago at 02.46 AM by Teaforone It has been awhile since I last posted. I thought I would give a little update. I am still waiting for January 12; that is the day that I am going back to my old truck driving school and taking their refresher course. I am truly glad that the day is getting closer, but unfortunately I have run into a spot of trouble. For the past two weeks I have been having these ghastly pains in my upper stomach. Seeking America via Semi Truck a student trucker experience Posted 1 Week Ago at 12.49 AM by Orangesky Sunday 2 November 2008 Well here I am in So. Cal. and the saga begins. I plan to keep a daily journal when I pass my test and am finally out on the road. I mentioned its kind of scary taking on this new challenge but that’s still a fair price for a new adventure.
