Economy and You Posted 12.02.2008 at 01.08 PM by vickw It's finally official. We are in a recession that has lastested so far 12 months. This is the longest recorded recession so far. Manufacturing just released their data also. They are at the lowest in 26 years. This is all not good news for everyone. Usually we can count on good old Americans to turn us round by spending, since the majority of the economy is based on consumer spending.
