Today Posted 08.07.2008 at 03.55 PM by Wildkat Just back from Fort Nelson, BC. 1362 miles in 2 days...normal 2 day run. Just bloody HOT! 38C in Nelson yesterday, too hot to sleep...never could sleep with the truck running, so pull over for a nap long enough to get me someplace dark & hopefully a bit cooler. Still not much dark up there, light till midnight still, sun up at 4 am. But, made it back to Grande Prairie & it cooled off to a reasonable 16C, nice for sleeping, into the chain-up area on the Big Smoky for a few hours and then... Continue reading...
