End Times People

Posted 08.13.2008 at 09.05 AM by WiseOne
This is a passage that truly shows the times we are in. Now doesn't THIS strike a beat these days? I don't know what does for you if you cannot see this...then maybe you are one of these people?

2 Timothy 3

Orientation Day

Posted 08.12.2008 at 12.57 PM by ParkRanger
School is an hour ech way from my home, so I guess during 8 weeks of school I'll get to know that route very well. Today we had orientation. I figured that we'd hear a little of what to expect and stuff. They checked to make sure that we had all of our paperwork done, sent us off for our drug test, and that was it. I was real shoked that many of the students didn't even have all of their stuff like DOT Medical or CDL Learners stuff. It was all clearly stated to bring that to orientation. I...

Orientation is tomorrow

Posted 08.11.2008 at 02.04 PM by ParkRanger
OK, today I picked up my DOT Medical Certificate, have my CDL A Learners Permit (had to make an extra trip because they put no air brakes the first time), got $ to pay for my drug test and MVR at orientation tomorrow so I'm good to go! This hasn't been too much of a hassle for me since I'm not working, but it sure would be tough for someone with a job. But I guess if you had a job, school would be about impossible. It starts at 7AM and goes till 6PM, Monday through Friday. Guess we'll see how that...

Posted 08.11.2008 at 12.30 PM by mr nobody

I don't drive for them (I have some pride you know lol) but that would be alot of drivers out of work & we don't need/want that, Also I was wondering if anyone knows anything about crete & knight joining. I saw a knight tractor& trailor sitting in cretes yard in North...

Busy summer

Posted 08.10.2008 at 08.40 AM by latanea
wow - I have been so busy the last month or so that I have not had a lot of time to post here -

been running my butt off all over..

between atlanta and philly and KC and chicago I hav spent a ton of time running freight...

I tend to like the fall and winter better - we slow down and I have time for hobbies and to work around the house. (and to relax more).

The wife has a corporate training in chicago next week so I will be running around...

Catching up

Posted 08.09.2008 at 04.55 PM by ParkRanger
This will probably be a long post just to let you know how I got here.

I have a college degree in Parks and Recreation and was actually a Park Ranger for about 15 years. I was a Law Enforcement Officer, EMT, and Firefighter. Then I joined my wife in owning and operating a retail store in a large mall for over 10 years. Business went down, rent went up, and we finally decided to close it. But at our age, and lack of any recent experience, and degrees that were older than the people...
