Update on First Truck Ride Posted 09.06.2008 at 07.12 PM by ParkRanger I'm not sure I gave a graphic enough impression on what it is to drive a big truck with a big trailer on the road for my first time. For those of you that have been there I hope you can remember it, and for those of you who haven't, here it is. Do You Ever Wonder Posted 09.06.2008 at 10.29 AM by TrooperRat I don't work weekends. I have volunteered to at my company for extra hours, but nothing has materialized yet (though it's hardly a bummer in any sense of the word, I wouldn't mind some weekend work once in a while). thinking about school!! Posted 09.06.2008 at 08.18 AM by killerq123 Hello everyone, I just want to say that I have been researching Trucking for Weeks now!!!! not hrs. or days....This Site is BY FAR THE BEST!!!!!!!! Anyway I cant get financed through one of those schools and I have been looking into going with a Co. that does the training for free.. Can anyone help me with this? First Week of school is over1 Posted 09.06.2008 at 06.21 AM by ParkRanger Well, I made it through the first week of school. The first couple of days were a little slow due to the paperwork and legal stuff, but then it took off. Yesterday we went out on the road. I had never been inside of a big truck before I started this class, and just learned about double clutching a couple of days ago . I was the second driver of 3 students in the truck and I did fine .
