I did many things in trucks - that - probably weren't really the smartest thing to do. One of them was to cross from the U.S. into Mexico the "back way". It just happened one day - somebody came back to our yard and said they had found a back way into Mexico. Nobody bothered them going in there and they freely accessed the city of Juarez. Grandma married to a Grandpa Trucker Posted 09.08.2008 at 07.25 PM by kandygrl4evr I'm a new truckers wife. I met my husband 16 years ago and he was cooking at the time. Not much money in that so he decided to get his CDL again after not trucking for 20 years. He worked about 3 year hauling gravel and equipment local but this was only seasonal. In August 2008 he went to work for swift OTR. It has been a big adjustment for all of us. Hubby and his Tools Posted 09.07.2008 at 02.06 PM by Cybergal It is mind boggling how ones husband can adore, love, enjoy, admire tools. For my husband it is truly..."Tool Time"...whenever he has the chance to, what he calls..."Tinker". The garage is not that far from the house and you would think that he would hear me calling him for dinner...NOT! Update on First Truck Ride Posted 09.06.2008 at 07.12 PM by ParkRanger I'm not sure I gave a graphic enough impression on what it is to drive a big truck with a big trailer on the road for my first time. For those of you that have been there I hope you can remember it, and for those of you who haven't, here it is. Do You Ever Wonder Posted 09.06.2008 at 10.29 AM by TrooperRat I don't work weekends. I have volunteered to at my company for extra hours, but nothing has materialized yet (though it's hardly a bummer in any sense of the word, I wouldn't mind some weekend work once in a while). thinking about school!! Anyway I cant get financed through one of those schools and I have been looking into going with a Co. that does the training for free.. Can anyone help me with this?
