Department of Energy (what has it accomplished?) Posted 07.12.2009 at 08.32 AM by JTAN Updated 07.13.2009 at 11.51 AM by JTAN (move to ploitical forum) The Department of Energy is about to be 32 years old.We have been paying for this Dept. with a massive amount of tax dollars all of these years. The Carter administration sold us this bill of goods!! I recently found that the D.O.E. has about16,000 Fed. employees & around 100,000 contract employees. This monumental waste of tax dollars original mission was to lessen our dependence on foreign oil!! What Happened?? How much is their yearly budget??Do some research,speak out! Swift Driving Academy Questions, San Antonio TX Posted 07.12.2009 at 01.32 AM by Amnora I had a question or two for the people who have gone through the Swift academy and have done the work well assessment. I am an asthmatic, and the medicine I take increases my heart rate. On top of smoking, (i know don't comment lol) not working out since I was a Vol. Fireman back in 08, and not drinking enough water, is the assessment something I should be concerned about?
