I have a felony thats 5 yrs old but i just got out of driving school hence no 18 wheeler exper. I have been driving 18's on my B license which was not safe at all.Any company's out there that would hire me?

My experience with USA Truck

Alright so everyone seems to have a blog so here is my take. I have had a B CDL since 1999 after starting with a Miller Brewing distributor. I have had different jobs driving these "straight trucks" and gained a lot of valuable experience such as floating gears, traffic and city driving with a commercial vehicle, being on time to a location and general experiences with a vehicle much larger and harder to negotiate than a 4 wheeler. The beginning

Well it is sunday night and tomorrow the beginning of my journey to world of truck driving begins. I am calling Swift, Trans Am,
Convenant, Sygma, Pemberton, Conway truckload, Transport america and Central to find out if they hiring newbies from FL. I am also calling the DMV to schedule my permit testing for tues or wed.

Do the things they do????

Why do companys do the things they do and better yet why do we as drivers continue to put up w/ it? To start at the beginning, recruiting, why cant there be something done about all the false advertising (lying) that these companys do. And how do you tell there lying before you get there? I cant understand how some of these companys can feel its better to treat there drivers like crap, pay them almost nothing, and have an outragous turnover rate, rather than hiring quality drivers and treating them...
