USA Part 2b Posted 07.09.2009 at 06.05 PM by fd720 Well last I remember I was just getting to the motel and waited until Wednesday before I got a call. Now keep in mind that I left my 1st trainer truck on previous Saturday evening at around 7pm. So she calls and says he is 3 hours out and to catch the shuttle to the terminal. So I pack up and catch the shuttle and when i get there I wait another hour or so and he finally arrives. He unloads his current student and calls me. Hello to Everyone Posted 07.09.2009 at 05.15 PM by gr8tdriver I just started looking into trucking. (I've been with a company for 30yrs and it's closing it's doors). Have done a considerable amount of traveling in a 4 wheeler, and always struggled with directions in big cities. Now have GPS and just love it, but found out that during training, trucking companies don't use them. Don't understand this at all....Turn come up so fast- sometimes on right after another, don't know how anyone who drives semi doesn't miss turns or ends...
