A New Heart Posted 08.20.2009 at 05.42 PM by predestine Before my husband Patrick passed away, he had on his license Organ Donor. The other day I received a letter from a man named David, the man who received my husbands heart. It's the second letter from him, and I am always glad to hear from him. My youngest daughter also is always glad to hear from him, and it's always an emotional time for her. David had a very bad heart, it started in his 40's, and progressed into needing a heart to live.
