Thanks driver

After having been out of work for nearly 4 months I landed a job. I have been with this outfit about a month now and I am still on my probationary period. Last night some driver who can't make ends meet stole 80 gallons of fuel out of my tanks. Now I am facing questions from the powers that be. Hopefully I will still have a job when this is over. So to the theif who stole the fuel. You reap what you sow.

Truckers image, how a trucker should look??

Posted 09.29.2009 at 02.44 AM by ghostchild
I hope ya appreciate the art...

Anyways...I was reading the truckers image threads...and I just stayed out of it...

I felt wierd, as an American...born and bread here...reading how others think truckers should look...One guy even said...'To bad they don't look like us anymore'...

Funny thing is...the guy who said that...inspired me once in the religious thread...so yes...I was a bit...

Starting back tomorrow. Fields saturated. Ditches backing out. This will be fun. We'll have a big chain and pull rope with us though.

Trucker Fashion

Posted 09.27.2009 at 12.46 PM by BMOC
There is a tv show called trick the trucker it is like the show trick my truck. But instead of fixing up a old beat-up truck they give a truck driver a make-over. Of course not all truck drivers are fat, smelly and messy dressers some still wear uniforms like in the old school days, they even used to wear hats and those work boots, not the clown suits you see on some of those guys. as a group about 20 percent of trucker dress well and are skilled professionals in the old days there was 20 percent...

Swift

Posted 09.26.2009 at 04.58 PM by 425Channelmaster
Hi, I am checking to see if anyone from Wisconsin is waiting for orientation dates for Swift at the Neenah terminal. I was accepted back in July and I am still waiting. They have told me that they have slowed down and are doing orientation only every two weeks...anyone else out there in the same situation? Do I wait or move on?
