FFE, I'm starting to figure this place out...

So I have been running with these guys for a little over a month now and things are starting to come together. Though I would love to have more miles, when I have had to wait until the next day to get loaded I get a nice little layover added to my check. This has happened a couple times.

I have been staying out for a long time (long to me) because I am taking a week off the July 4th weekend and after for a nice little Vegas trip that has been planned for quite a while. I left out May 27th and in that time I have traveled a little over 11,000 miles. For four weeks I guess that's not bad. Have been from Ohio- N.C.-California and all points in between. Most of it has been Texas and Oklahoma.

I finally got to Laredo for the first time in my driving career. 12 years it took me to get to this trucking mecca. I didn't have the nerve to head to "Boys Town" so I guess I missed out on the full Laredo experience. Oh well. LOL. I kinda figured I may have been the only driver to never have been to Laredo, but not now!

I will say that I do a lot of grocery stuff. As I write this I am at the J north of Houston and have to head down to Grocers Supply for a 3 am delivery. But I get a lumper with no questions asked every time.

All in all I am learning them and they are figuring out how I run and we are starting to come together. Things are getting smoother and I'm getting more comfortable both with them as a company and being back OTR. Having Jake with me has helped ease the stress in a big way.

Well, thanks for reading and I'll be writing more soon.
