Hey i am scheduled for a bus to Orientation sat to cedar rapids and then 28 day training, just graduated from Apollo school in Lima, ohio any help on this company ?

I've never used a hot tub...but here's my view on it...

If I'm in a hot tub...and someone wants to come sit in it with me...I could totally care less...as long as their clean...I mean don't use the hot tub to take a bath...you should already be clean before you get into one...

I'm not going to villify you just cause your fat or old or black or white or asian or gay or straight...

I don't go around villifiying people to make myself feel better...instead I embrace people as they are...and make them feel accepted...

So if you want to come sit in a hot tub with me...fine...we'll discuss history or politics or talk movies...and I will enjoy your company on an even keel...

One more tiny note...

If indeed I do have 'gay' leanings...it's the guys who should of been 'creeped' out...not the women...

(Again that illustrates that whole 'forced perception' thing...even when it doesn't fit...we, as humans, often force our pre-cast, already made, perceptions into situations where it doesn't even make sense)

Like a woman walking into a all gay club...so convinced that guys want her...that she files a sexual harracement suite...

Or vice versa...a guy walking into a all lesbian bar and convinced that all the women want him...even though his perception doesnt' fit the reality of the situation....

But then again some people are bent on villifying you regardless of what your orientation is, based on other reasons...

What i find 'creepy' and 'self serving' and 'damaging' is people who indite other peoples character based on their own flawed perception....

To me that's creepy...and cruel....

Well, here we are in Barstow Ca. waiting to del. at the Ft. Irwin base in the morn. This has been the first time I have had a chance to get on line for any length of time since my last post. We have been running back and forth to ca. as fast as our log book would let us. We stop to take care of personals and eat and such. Sometimes we even stop to take a couple hr. nap. Never yet have I heard anything about not moving fast enough. When we were near Carlisle a couple days ago I asked if we could come by and have the shop look at the truck because an anoying engine warning light that keeps coming on and off. No proplems there they got it fixed and were headed to ca. with this military load that evening. Oh I almost forgot. The truck was in the shop and we were in the driver area and this guy comes out of the dispatch and yells out my name. Of course I instinctively yell back "I didnt do it!" He says his name is Art and he is in charge of Operations. Our fleet mgr's boss. He said that if we have and questions or concerns not to hesitate to let him know. I have had alot of driving jobs and aside from Wil-Trans this is the only one that took the time to be that personal with us on that high of a level. So far so good with the company. They pay for Idle air when we stop which is pretty cool. We are getting all the miles we can run and makeing top wage in the industry. Thats it for now. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

You don't have to stop and pull over at midnight if you're driving but if you gave him your logbook without noting the duty status change when you stopped driving he still had you . Are you a company driver ? The company safety department should fight it to keep the violation off their record

Well believe it or not HOPEFULLY! star will take me on. i talked to them today, and they are hireing, so hopefully i can be sitting in oreantation in the next week or so.
And its just ruff making that decision rather or not to go with him. At first it was a really easy NO, im not going back out with him, but then u sit on here daily and hoping and ur faith tends to run low. excpecially with me for some reason. and like i said christmas u no... it hurts to not to be able to provide for ur family much less not get them even a 5 doller item for xmas. its heart crushing. But i will say this... If it wasnt for people like u. to stand there 2000 miles away and to start to catch someone when they start to fall. It means alot.
