never bloged before, too many other things going on. but from this point forward I will TRY to post on here once a week at least.
another day in the life

it finaly happened, I got stuck without a load. Well, thats truck driving. Pulled into a little truck stop just south of olympia wa. Part of my backhaul fell through . it happens, but still don't have to like it! Should get out of here before noon. Have a few things to do when I get back to the house. It cooled off last nite,woke up about 3:30 this morning, freezing my ears off, don't idle as a rule, But I damn sure fired it up for about a hour before I got up at 6, went in and had a cup, came back to a nice warm truck. Guess I better get out of here and drum up some work. By the way, the little resturant here is pretty good, food is decent and they have wifi in the building.

 |  Sorry you got stuck without a load. But it is always nice to be stopped at a good truck stop! I bet it is getting a little "chilly" up that way. I was stationed at Ft. Lewis Wa. for my first duty station back in 1988. We loved the area. So at least you have beautiful scenery as you make a living! We are trucking down here in Texas, but we plan to move to Wy, MT, or WA., depending on land/home prices at the time, After all our children Graduate, and leave the nest. Good luck on your future loads, and thanks for blogging your experiences. |
